
Ostrava's public parking portal using the Invipo platform

Project summary
Information regarding parking in Ostrava was previously hosted on the Ostravské komunikace website. However, as parking services expanded and the volume of available information grew, it became increasingly difficult to provide drivers with a quick, clear way to find parking locations, check rates, and see real-time availability.
In response, Ostravské komunikace decided to create a dedicated public information portal for drivers. CROSS developed the Ostravaparkovani.cz portal, which now consolidates information on 14 parking lots and parking garages offering over 2,280 spaces. The solution utilizes the Invipo® (Incinity) platform to integrate and centrally process data from parking systems supplied by three different vendors, presenting it to drivers via a single web interface.

CROSS created the public parking portal Ostravaparkovani.cz, which utilizes the Invipo platform to integrate and centrally process data from parking infrastructure. The solution runs on the OVANET cloud and incorporates data from both CROSS parking systems and third-party parking facilities. Individual systems are connected via Invipo connectors, which normalize the data and publish it in real time through the portal.
Drivers have access to up-to-date information on parking locations—including occupancy, pricing, and parking conditions—all in one place. Occupancy data is displayed in real time on an interactive map. Parking locations can be searched and filtered based on type, amenities, and conditions—such as wheelchair accessibility, covered parking, access for CNG and LPG vehicles, or the availability of EV charging stations.

Additional access solution
Information regarding capacity, operating hours, payment methods, facilities, CCTV surveillance, and operator contact details is available for each parking facility. The portal also features operating rules and price lists, information on long-term parking and subscriber terms, and an overview of electric vehicle charging stations.
The portal includes online parking payment and space reservation capabilities via the Parkum app, covering both short-term and long-term bookings. Users can also retrieve proof of payment. Video tutorials for drivers and 24/7 contact with the control center are also provided.
CROSS handled the analysis of the operator's needs and the solution design, graphic design, frontend and backend development, the administration interface, data source integration, testing, and portal deployment. The portal is multilingual, responsive, and accessible on both desktop and mobile devices. The solution's open architecture allows for the gradual integration of additional parking locations and operators.
