Over 100 CROSS controllers help manage traffic in Italy

Numerous high-quality implementations of traffic control equipment have occurred over time, and the company has consequently become a primary supplier of traffic light controllers in Italy. "We only supply the controller itself, tasks concerning fitting it in the control cabinet, installation and transport are actually handled by our business partner," explains Michal Šteflíček, Head of Sales at CROSS.

The controllers that have gone to Italy come from the CROSS RS 4S series. They are compact units that are quick and easy to install, with the capability of handling an individual intersection and even providing coverage for the entire city. Standard to all controllers made by CROSS today is the active functionality of V2X (vehicle-to-infrastructure) technology, which gives preference to public transport and emergency vehicles. Our traffic light controllers can either work independently or via a connection to a control panel. They enable smooth transit throughout a city and prioritize public transport, with the added benefits of being easy to set up and adapt to the needs of a specific location.
