METIS 5 - a new generation of road meteorology and ITS surveillance systems
After more than ten years of operation, the METIS 4 system is being replaced by a new generation of platforms for road meteorology and traffic monitoring. METIS 5 brings modernized data architecture, expanded forecasting services for Europe, and greater readiness for integration into other ITS systems. In live operation today, it connects hundreds of devices and users across the transport infrastructure.
