Installation of the CROSS Pavis system formed part of a major European ITS project undertaken for the Turkish city of Izmir. Currently, 116 Pavis stations are in operation, located in various parts of the city, which recognize 24,000 vehicles a day, 24/7. The system has detected over 4,000 traffic offences applicable for further processing on certain days in the past.
