We manage traffic in Aarhus, Denmark from Zlín
Denmark is a country, where traffic is considered in a great detail. You could hardly find such a sophisticated network of cycle paths that intertwine the streets of cities. Despite this, Danish cities face congested roads and congestion. In a university city of Aarhus, our smart eDaptiva traffic management system helps change this.
Aarhus is denish the second most populous city. The university city, which is the cultural center of Jutland, entrusted the fluency of traffic to the hands of the CROSS company in Zlín. The progressive metropolis that sets the tone for Scandinavian traffic is now building a traffic lights management system remotely. Over half of Europe we can take care of Danish traffic from Zlín.
The contract for the supply of about one hundred CROSS RS 4S controllers was signed with the city representatives in 2018. The task of the controllers is not only to ensure smooth traffic, but also to communicate with the headquarters and other systems from various manufacturers. At the moment we have completed ¼ realization, during which we focused on installing the first controllers, testing and training.
The remote traffic management system is also unique in Europe. Thanks to eDaptiva, which works in the cloud, we can manage the traffic in Aarhus in Denmark directly from Zlín.
Aarhus and its solution to traffic also attracted other Nordic cities, we are currently communicating with some Norwegian cities on the implementation of a similar project also in their territory.
