The parking system at Helfštýn Castle
The new CROSS parking system was designed to solve the problem of the smooth check-in of visitors and at the same time to facilitate the parking lot manager in the organization of traffic.
A new parking system, invested by the municipality of Týn nad Bečvou, was built at Helfštýn Castle. For many years now, the original asphalt parking lot, which was insufficient in space, has been supplemented by a grass parking area on the meadow. The new CROSS parking system was designed to solve the problem of the smooth check-in of visitors and at the same time to facilitate the parking lot manager in the organization of traffic. The parking area is now all one-way and better able to cope with the weekend influx of visitors. We have installed an entry and exit terminal with barriers in the car park. Payment is then made via an automatic payment terminal using banknotes, coins, or bank cards, even contactless. The entire car park is equipped with a camera system with continuous monitoring. The installation includes a technology that allows three different parking tariffs (a car, a van, a bus) to be determined on the basis of vehicle height measurements.
