Reconstruction of Evropská is continuing, CROSS supplied a traffic light controller
Reconstruction of Evropská street in Prague 6 began in August this year. We recently delivered the CROSS RS 4 traffic light controller to the intersection of Evropská and Šárecká. After almost 30 years, this is our first installation in Prague at a light-controlled intersection.
At the intersection of Šárecká and Evropská streets, one of the main feeders to the city ring road, at the turn of August and September we installed a new CROSS RS 4 controller with a traffic solution according to the Prague standard.
The delivery and installation of the controller was preceded by a presentation of CROSS Zlín and our technologies to representatives of the Technical Administration of Roads of the capital city of Prague and other representatives of the organizations concerned for traffic in Prague, which took place at the beginning of July 2020.
We realized the delivery together with our partner company Eltodo, which put the controller together with our technicians into operation and handed it over to Technical Administration of Roads for use. The controller is connected and controlled from the traffic center of the capital city of Prague. We would like to thank not only Technical Administration of Roads for the possibility of implementation, but also the partners from Eltodo for their exemplary cooperation.
