A new parking system for overcrowded Adršpach

The magical beauty of the rock town near Adršpach attracts many tourists from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Lively tourism in the town also brings parking problems. The village tried to solve the queues of cars that stood in the traffic jam in front of the cash registers by parking lots for free. After a year, however, the village has chosen the parking system CrossPark.

A new parking system for overcrowded Adršpach

About 300,000 tourists head to the Adršpach Rocks every year. Parking such a large number of cars in a village that has a permanent population of 500 is a big challenge. The cash registers in the car parks were replaced by free parking for one year, but the municipality did not have good experience with it. In addition to overcrowded parking spaces, several car parks have also become car-camps where the hikers have parked their vehicles for several days.

The Adrspach family decided to entrust the new parking system to our hands. Parking barriers in parking lots are fast and do not create queues. Parking fees are paid at the parking machines, not only in cash, but also by credit card, which is especially appreciated by visitors from abroad. The parking system recognizes the vehicle type and charges the parking fee accordingly. For buses it is 300 crowns in 4 hours, for passenger cars 100 crowns in the same time. The four o'clock is just enough for the visitors to go through the rock city, have a rest, eat and go further. In addition, each visitor has 20 minutes of "good", which can be used for easy payment of parking. The system is set to make traveling and parking comfortable. In addition, the parking system informs on navigation panels that the parking lot is full and that new parking spaces need to be found in other parking places.
