2DRoad
The first camera in the world, which can monitor the road surface two-dimensionally. Even without installing it into the road surface, it can monitor, whether the road is wet, covered in snow or ice and it can detect road passability. With up to 6x6m range/scale, it provides 4096x more information than ordinary cameras.

The camera differentiates the basic conditions of the road surface, such as dry, wet, or covered with snow or ice. At the same time, it can also detect more complex situations on the road, monitor roadsides or passability in the tracks of vehicles. With a single shot, it can distinguish conditions in multiple lanes. In addition, it also non-contactly measures the temperature of the road surface and determines the so-called slipperiness.
